“Humans spend lots of time trying to contain nature, forgetting that they are nature” Spinoza.

This thought got me noticing everything I do to contain nature, from sweeping the floor to preserving it with photography. As I disassembled my life and art practice, I became interested in simplicity. This has led me on a journey, discovering shamanism, guiding me through my internal landscape, and re-informing my art practice as I change inside and out in an ever-evolving spiral.

“The artist as Shaman” Joseph Beuys

Every human being is an artist, a freedom being, called to participate in transforming and reshaping the conditions, thinking and structures that shape and inform our lives
— Joshep Beuys
