“Humans spend lots of time trying to contain nature forgetting that they are nature” Spinoza.

This thought got me noticing all the things I do to contain nature from sweeping the floor to preserving with photography. As I started to dissemble my life and art practice I became interested in simplicity. This has led me on a journey, discovering shamanism, leading me inside my internal landscape and re informing my art practice as I change inside out, an ever evolving practice.

“The artist as Shaman” Joseph Beuys

Every human being is an artist, a freedom being, called to participate in transforming and reshaping the conditions, thinking and structures that shape and inform our lives
— Joshep Beuys
